So as the title says; bed logging is being abused in pretty much any scenario; not only during dog fighting. The specific bed log abuse I want to address here is the exploitation of bed logging at outposts to get easy gear to jump from server to server. First I'd like to address the fact that ships still disappear when bed logging. This should not be the case. Let me explain how this can be fixed & force players to actually leave outposts and planets alike first before being able to bed log without fearing having to lose their gear or personal inventory. Problem: So as it is now, if you bed log in an outpost your ship despawns & all gear you've taken remains on your ship from server to server & you can keep looting on different servers without an issue. Solution: Force bed logging to either be unavailable within 500.000km of any Armitice Zone & outpost/locations that has none; or have bed logging force ships to remain on the same servers including players characters within the same server forever within these boarders; actively forcing players to actually leave areas before they can bed log safely & log into a different server. Meaning that if they try to exploit the bedlog feature to get free gear, they can't forcing them back on the same server every time unless these steps are done by the players themselves. Also, by logging within the 500.000km area of any Armitice Zone or outpost/locations, the players local inventory in said ships should be globally accessible if people board the ship & the players character should also remain in the ship for people to then be able to kill & steal from. A player should be prompted with a warning with what will happen when they try & log while they're within any of the 500.000km zones & have these things apply to complete normal game logging as well, actively forcing players ships to remain in the game world & also their characters. (this would also insure that if you crash, you will always be back in your own seat of a ship if you haven't died every time or where ever you were prior even on planet surfaces.) Hope this makes sense & the devs takes this feedback into consideration & put it into the game to avoid this exploit to easily cheat when the game eventually goes LIVE.
