Hello, Openable cargo is a new feature for 3.22 that allows players to purchase interactable cargo boxes of varying sizes from cargo centers and drop them into the world to load into ships as a custom repository of goods. These boxes allow a storable and movable container for goods and a means to share equipment, in addition to providing increased general utility.
