I tried to be as brief as possible. I covered only the stuff I think players absolutely need to know before starting. New game settings Binding controls Ship control changes Speed limiter Afterburner/boost Overheat mechanics and how to control them (credit to @sladuog ) Maneuvering with your mains ("flying with your ass") I just realized, I forgot to talk about cruise control. Cruise control will simply make your ship continually try to maintain forward speed corresponding to your speed limiter setting. It's a button you can bind - press it and you can have another way to control your speed - by moving you speed limiter. This will let you take your hands off your controls and still keep moving forward - essential for dual stick and keyboard users! Another way to maintain speed while hands-off is with decoupled mode, which works largely as it did before, except the speed limiter affects how fast you can go.
