It's fine and welcome to make smaller ships with size 1 quantum drives a lot faster, but why nerf some of the higher tier quantum drives? Why are size 1 quantum drives now the fastest by far on average? Well nothing is set in stone, this game is still in development. Edit to clarify: I suggest: I would like to have less difference in max quantum speeds, similar to afterburner speeds: -afterburner speed is very similar, max difference around 30ish% -bigger ships need more time to reach max afterburner speed Yes something similar with quantum speeds. We still have tons of soft factors to make a difference, even when quantum speeds are similar: -fuel consumption -range -spooling time -acceleration stage 1 and 2 -wear and tear Having differences of over 3x between some same size qdrives isn't a great idea in my opinion. Edit 2: I am aware that quantum acceleration stage 1 and 2 are now very important too. Here size 2 and 4 qdrives are very good on average. See Malogos 3.8 data column AA: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KcwgrYRMUMy0xR0YIafWwOi9BANmsvbk-wwqJRBn5LQ/edit#gid=249083932 I just don't know how to calculate this. Someone please make an online calculator :slightly_smiling_face: Edit 3: Stage 2 acceleration is very important now too, I looked at the numbers in my latest video.
