ArcCorp will be just like Hurston after hype wears off . No one will want to go there, and here is why. Making it home base will mean players will have to do a ridiculous few minutes of running and "televators" just to get to your ship. One possible solution is have a tram stop outside Habs some where. Why wouldn't there be more routes/stops for them. Loreville maybe one set even that seems silly, but ArcCorp is a city planet, who designed it so inefficiently? I know I'm going to get all the first iteration banter, and I get that, but as far as I know they haven't said more stops on the route will come, or anything to that effect, and as here is where to voice opinions about game dev and direction. So, I am offering my thoughts on something I think needs to be given either more details about further goals for tram systems, or should we be looking at better ways to keep game flow going and less about tedious runs across stations. Maybe make Hab "televators," for time being, have the option to go Spaceport as well as ground floor. I mean it just teleports you as is anyways wouldn't be hard to do. I know for me I am already sick of the run across Area 18 to tram then run to ship kiosk, then to elevator to hangar. EDIT: After reading most responses there are many of you that have fair points that I can concede to about the future of the game and the need for the runs, and I can even agree that taking time out for "right now" quality of life or game flow really isn't that important. My point about teleporting is not to ask for teleportation in the game as that is not something I want at all, but was a right now suggestion for a fix. I'd like to see multiple stops or multiple shuttles maybe an uber type service to drop you off near you location. For me, someone that will not be playing for hours on end everyday I don't want my time playing just being QTing and running across a city to deliver a box or meet someone or..... If i have 1 hour to play and 30 mintues are in QT and running across a station means a casual player like me won't have much fun. Some will sure, but no matter how thin you pour a pancake there will always be two sides.
