Been playing this game for a couple of years now and I managed to convince a few friends to get the game early on. All of them have quit post-MM, we used to do cargo hauling together (and while there's alot i can say about the current state of hauling), MM has made it so much worse. When you're in a ship like the c2 or a caterpillar, your only options when going up against any more than one player in a fighter are to get out-maneuvered and die in 2 minutes, or try to escape and die in seconds. Reduced SCM speeds haven't evened out the playing field like i hoped. A couple competent fighters will whoop even a fully manned c2 without much resistance. And caterpillars are sitting ducks in any combat no matter the personnel. I've tried to get back into the game multiple times lately, but on top of the hilariously bad new ui, power system, and cargo rework, MM being untouched has really sealed the deal. They DESPERATELY need to work in a way for cargo players to have any chance of survival without other fighters having to tag along. What I wish I could understand is why MM seems to have taken such a backfoot for the devs, when it's the most important system in the game, if the space flight system in your space flight game is bad, it's going to scare most folks away. I just don't understand these priorities at all.
