Example: I have a Vanguard Harbinger. It has (1) S5 and (4) S2 guns. This is a HEAVY fighter. I love the look of it - it is nostalgic of Top Gun, but there is no motivation to fly it with these pilot weapons that do not meet those of newer ships. The M80, the SHIV, the Guardian. All have better flight characteristics and better firepower tied to the pilot than the Vanguard series. There are so many older ships that have fallen victim to the updated ships' power creep. These older ships that many of us want to enjoy really need some love.
