With the previews in ISC the gold pass for the Sabre looks amazing. For me the Sabre was the most iconic ship in Star Citizen back when I first backed and my all time favorite, I spent earlier patches in it when it was one of the staple dogfighters and it's never been the same since. Shortly after 3.6 (I think that's when it took the hard flight nerfs) it got slowed down and remained sluggish ever since. I miss the Sabre being flight centric when it comes to its balancing - like the old days. Now it sits as one of the slowest fighters almost shoulder to shoulder with vanguards Proposing it loses a shield, stealth capabilities or missile hardpoints to make up for the flight difference. Perhaps the original Sabre could be a pure fighter and the Sabre Comet could be the stealth and missile variant? In favor of a much faster and more maneuverable dogfighter. It just doesn't feel right being this sluggish given it's amazing history in earlier patches as being a top fighter tldr: the Sabre holds a place in my heart and just want to see it back up there with the flight centric fighters giving them a run for their money. Bring our boy home!
