So lets talk about this "tip of the spear," shall we? Mans buys $1000 capital torpedo boat marketed as an agile, fast striking get in get out "tip of the spear" capital corvette. For the first month or two, gameplay with it was peak.. Then ... Dumbfire removed - FUN DETECTED. And Then ... Make Torps flarable with 1 flare. And Then ... Greatly reduce Torp speed And Then ... Absolutely Neuter the Polaris's Speed and Agility And Then ... Reduce Torp health pools And Then ... Make Torps absolutely 0 damage or comp damage, even to small fighters And Then ... Make Torps basically not track at all And Then ... Remove Torps from claims And STILL ... the Torps won't even fire 80% of the time Just rename it to the Cargolaris at this point, and remove torps from the game (when we can dock again) . I'd have better luck throwing an SCU crate at an enemy with the tractor beam than any chance killing someone with a torpedo. Thanks for that.. And people are complaining this much about the IC, which cost $400 less, can be used with some minor annoyances and can still do it's intended role. Its been over a year the Polaris is still completely broken.
