Im pretty good at landing without using F4 (not that that should be a requirement or even recommendation to land), but every once in a while, I dont line it up perfectly while landing. And you know what happens? The guns on the side turrets hits the walls, the ship falls over, the thrusters arent strong enough to correct. And voila. Landing complete, have a pleasant stay.
