https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hHrqSq9OZ8 So will the changes suddenly make SPK the "jumptown that every CIG made jumptown failed to be?" My money is on "No, because you can't even get jumptown to be a regularly PVP event, now you think people are going to turn Kareah into the PVP jumptown that jumptown 2.0+ failed to be?" At this point it just looks desperate, Its clear the devs are trying SO VERY HARD to make PVP a thing when it just is not that popular, nor does it need you to pander to it so hard. How about you spend some of that wasted time on so many PVP events, updates trying to shoehorn PVP into greenzones, invent the term "death conga lines" from trying to force a Stanton wide pvp event for a mask, trying to facilitate PVP in events that only results in the event getting trashed, and instead spend that effort on, oh I don't know, not making security a mockery meant to be taken down by a single player? Maybe make PVE events that are actually enforced as PVE? All these PVP events are just wasted effort after wasted effort to try and make a niche play style mainstream. You remember Xenothreat right? Remember how well that worked when you at least sneezed in the direction of hindering PVP with the comm array? Maybe consider doing that for the Siege event, then maybe people will actually try it rather than thinking its another Nine tails lockdown event where you try so desperately to make a PVP event only for it to end up primarily PVE anyway. Would put my money on Siege being more popular if you actually took effort to remove forcefully PVPers from the event and stopped with the whole There are systems in place to prevent PVP We are not discouraging [PVP] https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=322&v=t9AshHwQUBQ&feature=youtu.be I mean come on, you are making a whole star system dedicated to PVP, at this point why don't you just marry PVP if you are going to throw out everything to try and force it into the limelight. Maybe its time CIG reevaluate its paradoxical approach to PVP at the expense of everything else in the game. Less of course we go back on the words of CR himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=2174&v=G42MQ1aVjlA&feature=youtu.be If you don't want to engage in [pvp] you don't have to... The problem with PVP is there is always a winner and a loser, and both of those people are players that paid money for the game.
