@minionsoldier has posted a really good video pointing out problem with cockpit view visibility. If you have not seen it and you think there is a problem, watch it. He explains in depth where the problem lies and proves it is not really a matter of screens taking half of the screen, but rather faulty pilot's point of view. He is explaining it comparing it to DCS, where cockpit can also take half of the screen but it does not feel too obstructive. Personally I address this video to CiG's game designers, please spend 10 minutes of your time and steal :stuck_out_tongue: solutions from DCS experience. EDIT: He is talking about Cutlas, but this is general problem and Cutlas is just an Example, that is why I have posted it Here in General Forum. You could have used Freelancer or Retaliator as example as well. EDIT 2: What I am proposing: change a bit Point of View. Leave cockpit obstructing half of the screen, but rise player point of view by few centimeters and tilt it a bit down. This way screens will still have its edge in the middle of the screen but player will see a bit of ground before him. Hud might require a bit of adjustment tho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9pRuf3WAPM
