I have been waiting and waiting for this product to become viable; like 90% of the users that still follow this project. Now, great steps forward has been made, since the days where only a trailer was available, and then more progress were made, since the days of the hangar...and so on. Although, one consistent jump was made when 2.0 was released; that was the first step toward a coherent set of features, that was not a single disjointed experience (like Arena Commander and later on, Star marines). In lieu of 3.0 and planetary tech, I did start to see value in this product (not a game, because this is nowhere near to be called a game), so I decided as sign of good faith, to invest further money, and did get another account with a base ship, updated my original subscription to get a bigger ship, and got even an extra land vehicle, to take advantage of the fact that now there is land to explore. Although the hope was short-lived...3.0 came out, few weeks passed by and a slew of issues started to pop up. You are well aware of these issues; which would cause in the best case a crash, a disconnect from the server, making you loose your cargo; random explosions and ships getting stuck into each other. I told myself that this will be fixed soon, because now there are quarterly patches, which include placeholders for features, and fixes for bugs. We did wait months and months, because for CIG, "quality comes first, and we don't want to put out a product that is not usable"... Well, Not sure what is "usable" for you, but for me would be something like the first week or so of 3.0. At that time, the game was more or less stable, you could do cargo run, complete missions and beside the occasional crash or glitch, the experience was there. I did log in every single day and spent hours playing the first 3.0, for few weeks, until new patches came out and the whole experience sank. And now, after the release of 3.1; we still see the same crash, the same issues; the same problems. And what is CIG doing? More ship sales; more ship concept sales, more showcase, more vehicles. GOOD JOB! Now, since this product won't be done by 2020 and beyond (best case scenario), can you PLEASE STOP dedicate time for ships and vehicles, and take care of the core experience? I get that no ship no money; but isn't what you have in your bank account enough yet? What did you actually deliver so far, that justify the almost 200M dollars in pledge, that many of us users did put on the table, to allow you to make your dream game, and us to actually see it finished so we can play it? What we have nowadays is great as placeholder, it is a base on which you can build for the future; but if you expect that you can just continue to put out ships to bring in more cash, and use the excuse that "IT IS ALPHA, so bear with us"'; you may end up in a rabbit hole that could have potential issues in the long run. Nobody is asking you to stop making ships, because that is your only source of income, and I hope for the future of your company, that the expectations will be met, because customers and fans never forgive nor forget (Star Wars battlefront 2, No Man Sky, but the list is long). All that someone is asking, is to see a stable framerate; that does not go from 35-45 to 2-5, without no reasons; causing hiccups and other serious gameplay problems. Is it too much to ask to spawn a ship and get it in working condition, without the need to file a claim and waste time to see if the next one works? Is it too much to ask for a consistent gameplay, where you can complete missions, where you can complete transactions without items disappearing; without ships bouncing out of control when you try to land. Is it too much to expect to not loose the cargo if the game crash or disconnect, or some other event affects you, and you end up wondering why you even try to do something, when you know that it is broken? You did start to fix issues, although they are still here, and this is not enough. This is not a matter of being in Alpha or not; because if you are in Alpha, then you are in alpha also for the ships...instead the ships are a constant; they ALWAYS get finished; they always get pulled out to the store; even if they won't even work in the beginning. You should seriously start to put on hold all these ships, because we have TOO MANY of them, and if there is no gameplay, or the application crash and disconnect at random, or the framerate sink, it is not fun; on the contrary. I am willing to put up with the issues that a pre-pre-pre release product may have; but at the same time I would like to see more focus on the core gameplay, this is not a Pokemon game...gotta catch them all these ships, for real money of course. I hope you will reconsider your strategy; people are sinking time and money in your product; and it is not fair to be so disrespectful towards them and their commitment to your product. Please start to focus on making the minimalist experience that is available, at least decent. Then you can make all the ships you want; because there are people that would buy anything you sell, just for the sake to see this game done. You did demonstrate that you can deliver; now it is time to show that you can deliver a real product, not the assignment like the college kids do. Thanks
