I’m sharing with you my biggest disappointment since the last CitizenCon. I was eagerly anticipating the new star map, thrilled by the idea of seeing the entire 'verse in real-time, pinpointing locations, setting custom markers, true navigation freedom. Unfortunately, what we've received feels like style over functionality. The sleek UI is there, but the core functionalities that were promised are missing. The experience is clunky; scrolling jumps you from one map to another with no smooth transitions or accurate zoom levels. For example, when you log in at New Babbage, you can see every floor near your apartment, but the moment you scroll, you're thrown straight to a planet-wide view. There's no option to focus on New Babbage itself or select the spaceport as your destination you’re either stuck at the micro-level or thrown into orbit It pains me to say this, but I’m starting to lose faith in the project. Exciting videos and beautiful visuals aren't enough anymore. While I’m still passionate about Star Citizen, I’ve decided not to invest more time or money until we get hand on real functional features. I don’t want to be dazzled by eye candy; I want to see practical, working systems. I sincerely hope what we’ve seen so far is just a sneak peek, and not the final iteration of a feature that will be left half-baked
