SQ42 may or may not arrive in 2026/27/28/29/30. The ships you paid a lot of money for may or may not work. They maybe do what was promised, barely fulfil their role, or have become useless and are being ignored by the developers. The economy, if you can even call it that, is a bad joke. Much needed tools for organisations and groups may or may not be coming soon. BUT don't despair. There is light at the end of the tunnel. CIG has our back. No matter how many promises have been broken. No matter how often SQ42 has to be delayed. No matter how long we have to wait for bug fixes. The next ship sale will be on time. Even if the gaming experience has to suffer in that patch, god damn it will be on time. And yes they will keep ignoring us afterwards, and they will not address the most glaring issues. It is, after all, to be expected by now. But maybe, just maybe the money will allow them to cram even more developers into this clown car. More developers delivering more T0 systems...not the systems the game desperately needs but systems that keep selling the dream of how great this game will one day be. If we give them more of our hard earned money, they might just pull it off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sarcasm and cynicism aside, what I really want to say is: CIG needs to do better. They have to release SQ42 and use the proceeds to fund the rest of the development for SC. 1 billion dollars my fellow backers...we have done our part, we have done enough. We financed 2 games and it is time they release one to pay for the rest.
