Please make the loot table less grindy. I've been visiting the OLP orbital stations many times a day for several days now to farm Antium Armor Sand and Maroon. Although the stations are currently very quiet and I'm often there alone and can loot everything by myself, I still don't have all the pieces of the Sand set and only one piece of the Maroon set. The loot table is extremely grindy. I have all the loot to myself. If there were other players or groups there, the loot would be divided among even more players, but there is already very little good loot available for a single player. It's even worse at the distribution centers. I've been farming there daily for several weeks and haven't found a single piece of Moonfall, Sunstone, Metropolis, or Necropolis from Palantino. Only normal and Daystar. There are many other players there and the crates are often looted empty. The grind is extreme. It would be great if there were personal loot and the loot chance applied separately to each player instead of everyone sharing the same loot chance. If there is a very rare item in the crate, the first person to loot it gets it. Everyone else has no chance of getting that item. Everyone who opens the crate should find loot and have a small percentage chance of getting a very rare item. That's less frustrating and much more motivating. I'm not a PvP player. I don't like PvP at all. I enjoy seeing other players and teaming up with allies to fight NPCs. But the loot system makes everything too difficult for players. That's a shame. The good loot is often behind a PvP wall. Harthor Contested Zones Lazarus Distribution Center etc. Why does it have to be this way? What is so much better about PvP than PvE? Why are PvP players given so much preference? Why am I forced to do PvP to get good loot? Since I always fly around in a medship, I woke up close to where I died. When I encounter another player, I flash my flashlight. Sometimes the other player flashes back and both continue on their way. Often, players shoot at me without me shooting back. I continue to flash my light to signal that I am friendly. Then I die and wake up near the place of death. I run to my corpse, see the player looting it, and shoot them. I take my stuff and fly away. That's not nice. I hate it. Put together the players who all want to kill each other and put together the players who want to play together. Just like ARC Raiders does. I'm a peaceful player, so I only deserve crap loot because I don't want to do PvP? That's how CIG's loot system feels to me. If you want good loot, do PvP. If you don't want to do PvP, you'll only get crap loot. I am excited about the new instanced PvE and PvP separate missions in 4.7. I really hope that the PvE loot and the PvP loot are the same and that PvP loot is not higher quality than the PvE instance loot. Otherwise, it would be extremely unfair to PvE players. CIG, please treat all players equally. Do not prioritize players who enjoy PvP over players who dislike it. PvP players are not disadvantaged by this. They have the same loot in their zones and can continue as before. I am sure that CiG is already working on solutions for their very large but quiet PvE community. There are so many solo players and so many PvE players who are less vocal than the PvP players. CIG, please don't forget us. PvP players who are against equal loot tables for PvE and PvP players, please respond with a clown face. It's not about favoring PvE players, it's about equality. Anyone who doesn't want that wants to disadvantage others. I'll probably start another huge shitstorm here, even though I don't want to. My approach is simple. Treat all players equally. Unfortunately, that means some people will be upset. CIG, I know you're reading this. I really think you're doing a great job, and I hope you'll listen to what I have to say. :slightly_smiling_face: EDIT: To be fair, I have to add Onyx and the QV Station are not behind a PvP wall. I am extremely grateful to CIG for that. These are the two best instances, whether for groups or solo players. The best I've played in Star Citizen so far. I neglected to mention that.
