I'm getting used to the new flight model but I have a couple of pet peeves to note: The HUD Speed limiter scale (left side, vertical scale) depicts speed in a linear scale. As a result, the SCM portion exists only in a tiny part of the scale and fine-tuning is almost impossible. I would like the bar shown as a logarithm scale so that the SCM portion occupies a greater portion (Allowing for fine-tuning), while the top speed portion is more rough to dial in. When I set cruise control "ON" and then momentarily Decouple, it disengages my Cruise Control (turns "OFF"). In a dogfight, I find it easier to set my speed limiter to top-SCM with cruise-control ON. But each time I decouple to aim off-vector and then re-couple, my speed drops to zero (0). I wish the cruise-control would automatically re-engage if I never turned it off.
