This is Cpt_Foxyloxy and I am writing this post as a voice of many many Star Citizen players who cannot play Star Citizen because our accounts have been permanently locked where no workarounds can help. Some of us have been locked out of the game for days and weeks. DefenseCon 2956 and the Freefly are over with great financial successes, but what's left in terms of gameplay and server performance is quite a mess. Let's not talk about the various bugs with the newly released ships, which I believe they will get sorted out in time. But right now the most important issues are the "Shard Lock" problems or error code "64010" or the "Spawn Resolver Error", and they are one of the same problem which prevents players from logging into the game. And yes, there are reliably workarounds by doing character repair while loading in or while in the Arena Commander, but that doesn't work for everyone. I have done some research from reading the issue council as well as reading the comments from my videos, my estimate is that after DefenseCon 2956, about 75% to 80% of the players encountered shard lock problem, but among these players, 75% to 80% of them can use the character repair tool to free themselves, but the rest of the 20% t0 25% of players cannot, and there is just no other workaround can help. So I am sincerely asking CIG to do something for these 20% of players. Please help us! As backers we've really done our job at backing up Star Citizen, especially during this DefenseCon, we have pushed SC to new heights especially in terms of finding, and as backers, we are both happy and proud, because we sincerely love the game, love CIG and all your developers, and your hard works have always been appreciated and highly valued. However, as players, we are suffering, and we really need help more than ever. So please help us! I read a recent SC Reddit post regarding "Bearded-CIG on fixing broken accounts" and on this post, CIG said that they lack the tool to fix this problem, but there is still one tool you can always use, or at lease try to use to fix these problems, which is a Server Maintenance. And if there is anytime we need a Server Maintenance most, it is now. So please help us out! Please help us out so that we know that you guys are there, and are sincerely care about not just the ship sales, but us the players who truly love this game, and truly held the line for a very long time and are still hold this line no matter how many criticism others throwing at us contently. But right now our bottom line has been broken simply because many of us CANNOT play. So please help us fix this bottom line so that we can keep holding this line for the sake of LOVE. Thank you!
