I'm extremely frustrated at the current state of the alpha. I keep having to recover from complete poverty because of ridiculously frequent server crashes stealing all my investments. This wouldn't be a major issue, except the current commodity and mission payouts are so abysmally low, any scratch of money takes ages to make. I've had to work back up from zero at least 4 times this patch alone. It's become a completely un-fun grind, discouraging me from playing any further. I know "Commodity trading isn't the current focus" - but that doesn't mean you should punish people who enjoy that gameplay by making it into "Grind extremely slowly until the russian roulette server-crash pistol fires and makes you lose all your cargo". Nor hamper the ability for people to test the newly implemented systems (stores etc) by severely curtailing the credit flow. When the servers don't crash - and the comms system doesn't lock up after idiot NPC's spam your comms with craptalk, preventing you from requesting landing clearance - THEN maybe you should think about slowing down players credit flow. Even then - if you're not testing the economy specifically, why would you try to put the brakes on my testing ability? Why prevent me from testing the stores, and the ship equipment systems - and all the stuff that actually was added recently and, oh you know, needs testing?? I haven't been able to test the ship equipment interface at all since the latest patch, because of being robbed repeatedly of all my funds by server crashes. I'm just extremely frustrated, and do not follow the "logic" of slamming the doors on the cash flow when the economy is not a focus, and stores need testing.
