Quick Overview and Basic Steps Each Hathor facility consists of 5 POIs: 3 ground antennas - Platform Alignment Facility (PAF) Orbital Laser Platform (OLP) Control Bunker (not marked on map, almost directly below OLP, 1 km from ground zero) Align and activate PAFs (each dish requires 3 Alignment Blades found on-site at each PAF). Install batteries at Orbital Platform (batteries taken from each PAF upon alignment). Retrieve Activation Keycard from Orbital Control Room. Use Keycard in Control Bunker to fire laser. Detailed Steps At each PAF site, obtain 3 red security keys from printers in the surrounding buildings (or one printer may be in the dish building itself). In the dish building, find the 3 Alignment Blades in the rooms behind the red doors. Blades will be on a table or wall near a yellow lamp. Insert the 3 Blades into the control console along the torn up wall. Need to wait after each Blade for the dish to do its thing. Once all 3 Blades inserted, the large Yellow garage door opposite the control panel will open. Inside find a large, flat orange battery. Take the batteries from all 3 PAFs up to the OLP. (repeat 1 - 4 at other two dish PAF sites) Fly up to the OLP. Install the batteries in the orange power generators on the large landing pads (2 on each pad). Some generators may already be powered. Look for the ones with the large orange flap extending up. Go inside to the Platform Control room. If all is OK, a red button should have appeared in the center once the last battery was installed. Press it and take the Laser Activation Keycard it gives you. Fly down to the Control Bunker. It has no marker, but is approx. 1 km from ground zero. Insert the Laser Activation Keycard into the control panel in the bunker. Press big red button when ready. Blue keys unlock loot, garages, or other printers. Red keys unlock the three rooms under the dish with the Alignment Blades. One red keycard printer is often located in the dish building itself. Others in surrounding buildings. At the OLP there is a printer for an orange keycard, unlocking a storage room with loot. Expect heavy NPC resistance. NPCs will respawn after approx. 15 minutes. Keycard printers have a 15 minute cooldown. Overall dish reset interval is not yet known. Respawn interval of Alignment Blades also not known. End Result Currently, the end result of the laser firing is a cave being revealed. In the current build there do not appear to be any harvestables or other items in the cave (although apparently there should be?). The cave will close again after some (unknown?) interval. The Stanton Wildlife Journal entry also hints at what may be attracted by the laser's noise. :bug: Missions There are some Mercenary missions (both verified and unverified) that send you to these locations for standard clear-out hostiles and similar tasks. There does not appear to be a mission (yet?) for the overall firing process of the laser. Maybe there will be, or it will be a sandbox type activity?
