So, I just wanted to drop this post to help out new and existing players identify the different biomes that are situated on Hurston. Hurston has 6 biomes to explore; - Acidic - Desert - Trash - Savannah - Strip Mined - Polluted Coast Most can be spotted from high above Hurston if you know what you're looking for, with the exception of the Savannah as you have to fly a little closer to the surface to see that biome. (hopefully that should change) So lets start with the first biome... ACIDIC - This one is easy to spot, just look for the large yellow area's DESERT - This biome covers most of Hurston, any surface area you see with a dark redish colour is the desert biome. TRASH - Another one that's fairly easy to pick out, just look for the patches of dark blue/purple. See picture below: SAVANNAH - Once you start flying closer to the surface, and if you're in the right area you will start to notice a faint green surface colour, this will indicate that you are approaching the Savannah biome. See picture below: STRIP MINED - Flying over the surface keep an eye out for areas that have a lot of white lines, this will indicate that you are over the Strip Mined biome. See pictures below: POLLUTED COAST - This one is pretty self explanatory, most of Hurston's shore lines are polluted. They are typically covered with debris and have a dark colour tone's due to the years of oils and chemicals dumped into the ocean. See images below: Visiting these biomes quickly can be done by travelling to one of the numerous HMC outposts. Below I have listed out the outposts that are associated with the different biomes; HMC Oparei - savanah HMC Edmond - polluted coast HMC Thedus - acidic HMC Hadley - strip mining HMC Stanhope - desert / polluted coast HMC Pinewood - strip mining DISCLAIMER - These outposts are subject to be moved around by CIG in future patches, so they may end up in a different biome to what is stated here. However, I will try and keep it as up to date as possible as long as people still find this post useful.
