No, it's not about the psychological part. :stuck_out_tongue: :slightly_smiling_face: It's actually about the physical part of the input control. I play with two joysticks and since the Master Mode system came out, I've been getting more and more pain in my left hand. I'm right-handed and use my left hand to control movement. I know exactly why that is. With the MM system, we now have a much shorter speed axis in combat. To move my ship at 100% SCM speed, I have to move my left joystick all the way to 100%. After a few combat missions, this is physically exhausting and after a while my hand starts to hurt due to the constant 100% input. In the old system, I could use the speed limiter to vary how far I had to move my left joystick to be in the desired speed range. This was much more pleasant, as I could use the speed limiter to quickly change my input strength depending on the environment and location. This was also better when landing than the current fixed limit with landing gear, as I could then vary my speed myself and still control it precisely. Unfortunately, there is no way to edit the sensitivity curve via the control settings, so that I can get 100% input with a little less travel with the joystick, as I used to. I also don't want to use the software for my joysticks, as this would distort the input for other games. I have spoken to various players and it works in a similar way, but it is often tiring, not just for joystick players. Keyboard players I have spoken to also say that the little finger on their left hand hurts more often now because you have to boost very often to get some speed in combat. It may be that this is a wimp problem for some (younger) players, but I think this information on the ergonomics of the input is important. Thanks for reading. PS: Are there others among you who feel the same way?
