I'd like to hear the words "Hurston, we have a problem" from at least ONE of the Developers.. It's a known problem, I know - But I don't know if CIG actually recognizes it as a problem. To anyone with an AMD 6000-series Graphics Card and the latest WHQL drivers (22.11.2 / 23.2.1 / 23.2.2 / 23.3.1) installed. Can ANYONE of you start the "Dying Star" map in Arena Commander without an instant game crash (CTD)?? The pictures below is from the current LIVE build 3.17.5 [EDIT] - I know the "workaround" is to revert back to AMDs 22.5.1. driver (@Eratosthenes ) This thread is mostly to get confirmation from CIG (or have someone direct me to where CIG recognizes this as a problem). [2nd. EDIT] - 3.17.5 didn't change anything (and nobody said it would). My specs: Ryzen 9 5950X LiquidDevil RX 6900 XT 64GB Crucial DDR4 PC4000 Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Windows 10 [3rd. EDIT] - Non-XT models doesn't seam to have "access" to the 22.5.1 driver but "only" the 22.5.2 driver (which still gets CTDs in "Dying Star"). [4th. EDIT] - New driver released - 23.2.1 Careful with this one... I get BSOD. https://wccftech.com/latest-amd-radeon-graphics-drivers-reportedly-causing-pc-boot-issues-corrupting-windows/ [5th. EDIT] - FRESH Windows 11 Pro install - Latest Chipset drivers - AMDs 23.2.1 Driver (no BSOD this time around) - Arena Commander - Dying Star - C T D :skull_and_crossbones: [6th. EDIT] - AMDs 23.2.2 Driver - Live build - Arena Commander - Dying Star - C T D :skull_and_crossbones: [7th. EDIT] - Yet another driver release from AMD - 23.3.1 - I'm not sure I want to test it.... Just got my Windows up and running :grimacing:
