I'll start by saying I'm not against Mark II versions of ships being made. But.... You should probably wait until we are 1.0 before you start regularly pumping out mk II versions of ships. Because the game is not complete, like, at all. So these new mk II's we've been getting now, are going to need mk III's or heaven forbid mk IV's by the time we actually get to 1.0. That's just an incredibly bad look from an optics standpoint point. Never mind the tech debt. It looks really really bad to have ships being released, grow old and dysfunctional, and then get replaced by a newer version that is sold separately, all before the game is actually 1.0 (full released). There is something objectively wrong with that.
