With the latest ISC, I don't think you could have proven you understand industrialists less if you tried. There is no real sense of accomplishment in finding a high value/quality ore, at best it's relief, more often than not just a simple "FML finally" because you've insisted on hiding haystacks within haystacks, within yet another 998 levels of haystacks. It's not engaging, it's not fun, and it's not practical. And even when you DO find that high quality rock, there's only 2 SCU of it, it took you 4 hours to find, and you still have another 93 SCU of cargo room before it's worth going back to the station and another hundred hours of searching to find shit worth bringing back. You know what IS fun? Getting the perfect break (which improves the value of your haul). Getting a process just right to maximize your results that doesn't rely on RN Jesus to bless you (I'm looking at you FFXI crafting). Making enough money from a single haul to do a Scrooge McDuck impression and go swimming through your money bin. People like mining and salvaging because they are relatively laid back and relaxing activities that generate money. Not because they spent 36 hours looking for the perfect rock, not because they got jumped by pirates (players or NPC's) and lived, but in 36 hours they cleared out an entire 300 rock asteroid field and made a bunch of money. Bottom line, you need to take more lessons from EVE industrial gameplay. Higher risk areas get higher value ores with higher densities/qualities, but at the end of the day you're trading time spent for risk involved to make similar amounts of money.
