There's obviously a ton of feedback incoming for MM, so I just want to keep this one simple and centered on one concept: Being locked out of swapping between SCM and NAV while the ship changes modes is a really bad feeling. For larger ships we're stuck for 30-60 seconds while SCM or NAV mode spin-up completes. When I accidentally swap modes (which is really easy right now due to muscle memory), it sucks to have to sit there and wait so long before I can swap back. Two changes need to be made here: We need to be able to swap between SCM and NAV at will. There should be a buffer that transitions power between the modes. For the buffer, it should just be a percentage meter that shifts power back and forth between the modes. If we accidentally swap from NAV to SCM, power will slowly shift from the quantum drive to other systems, but if the swap was accidental and we swap back quickly, then the quantum drive will still be partially spooled, reducing the downtime before we back to full NAV mode.
