Edit: For those advocating for MM; why can a "multi-story apartment sized ship "that shouldn't be able to outrun other ships"" be able to drop from 1100mps to 220mps on a dime, BUT cannot accelerate back to the same speeds with boost in the same amount of time. "IT'S REALISTIC." "Shit, need to rearm and repair before my next ERT run." "Oh, cool. Some dudes chillin at the mining facility, how you guys doing?" Peace ensues. "Alright, see y'all later." Flies away. "Oh! Cool! The trio of 400I, Taurus, and Hornet decided they're going to chase me! Better throw it into nav mode and dip!" "OH! COOL! I CAN'T throw it into nav mode and dip because the Taurus, 400i, and Hornet are somehow keeping up with me in NAV mode while my shields are going down! Looks like I can't escape!" "OOOHH! COOL! NOW IM OUT NUMBERED 3 TO 1 AND I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY'VE ALREADY DAMAGED MY SHIP AND MY SHIELDS WONT REGENERATE SO I CAN'T RUN OR STAY AND FIGHT! GOOD THING I HAVE NOTHING ON ME AND I'M BEING ATTACKED FOR NO REASON AND THERE'S NOT A SINGLE THING I CAN DO ABOUT IT BECAUSE MY 2954 SHIP IS SLOWER THAN A 21ST CENTURY BOEING 747! MM is stupid. I miss the old flight modes. A gladius is slower than an F16 and is half the speed of an F35. A Boeing 747 outcruises a gladius. Good thing I was in my 600i and couldn't out run, outshield, or turn and fight my opponents. Nav mode is useless and the shield goes down and other ships with weapons can keep up with you at their SCM speed.
