It is seemingly more obvious to me the more developer replies I read on MM that CIG, or at least one specific person at CIG, is placing their stake on the MM hill. I've went through denial, knowing it wouldn't happen; to anger of them defying Newton and ruining space simulation; to bargaining with my many posts on how to replace MM with high speed combat changes; to depression of not logging in for over a year.. Now I am resigned in knowing that in upcomming 4.0 I will have to accept it. My VKB HOSAS have been gathering dust and there is nowhere else to turn. But this probable future does not mean implicit compliance. I have just spent too much on this one game including accesories to drop. Even though CIG has won the battle for their FM, they have lost the war for my affinity, recommendation and my continued monetary support. I know this is inconsequential. CIG will continually have in influx of new players who will never have known the beauty of the seamless flight model before 3.23. But I will offer my congratulations to CIG for the battle won.
