None of these recent updates have anything to do with Explorer gameplay. they are just turning the game into a PVP sandbox that is breeding a community of griefers in Star Citizen. At this point, ganking for resources, griefing, and piracy have become the core gameplay of Star Citizen, no matter where you go. The Crimestat system is useless, the reputation system has no real consequences, and people are just having fun venting their frustrations on other players with no actual in-game purpose. While the gameplay is already infuriating due to bugs, the in-game community and atmosphere have become even worse than before. Solo players have zero chance of getting near or trying out events and new locations because established groups of players are constantly locking down these areas. Even small parties of 3-4 people can't finish missions within one or two hours because they constantly have to deal with PVP and change their plans, not to mention the rewards are pathetic compared to the hours you have to put in. for anyone talking about PVP or PVE You're misunderstanding the core issue. It's not about whether there's PvP or no PvP. It's fundamentally about the design philosophy behind the missions that are being implemented into the game. Your mission might be to shoot a giant worm, but another group of players just wants to 'shoot people.' The question is, is this the kind of game loop the developers truly intend? If so, why make players travel all the way to different locations just to get shot down by a group of griefers? As I said, if you introduce PvP into any mission without considering its actual gameplay purpose, it simply becomes 'another meeting point for people to just shoot each other.' No matter how many missions the developers pour their effort into creating, they'll all end up in the same place. "So please stop applying 'High Risk, High Return' strategies to all missions by incorporating PvP into the formula."
