Hello CIG, First I want to start by saying this isn't hate or anger or criticism in the bad sense, this is simply an ask for more information with patch notes to help us test better. Over the years the patch notes have been great, but have noticed a decline in information to the point of single sentence changes which give very little clue to help us know what we are testing. When jumping in to test, especially in evocati, we need more detail in the patch notes to help us understand what has changed to see if the changes are causing issues. There have been many instances where a change in something as simple as the placement of the "Log Out" prompt in a bed has lead to us putting in IC Reports for something which isn't an issue. This can be frustrating as we then end up spending time replicating an issue multiple times to check it can be reproduced and that is valuable testing time which is ultimately wasted on something which isn't a bug. Another example of where more detail is needed is when making changes to things relating to the flight model. When jumping on and testing flight, to have no notes on something which has changed, and falsely assumed it is my sticks acting up (causing me to alter my settings or recalibrate) when in reality it has been flight model changes which change how flight feels. Below are the two most recent examples outlining where more detail would greatly help evocati testers: As you can see, these gameplay updates give little detail on what we should be looking out for, which overall can cause problems with testing and end up with many IC Reports which are submitted due to this. As we test each and every day, we try our best to provide as much detail in our IC Reports, to test as much of the vast changes in each major patch, so that things are smoother for hitting the PTU Waves, we could help improve this greatly if we were given more detail in these patch notes to help us avoid the pitfall traps of false IC Reports for things which have been changed without being shown in the notes. I understand this will take more valuable time in the process, but ultimately would ensure we can test more accurately and provide a much better evocati experience when pushing through bug hunting and change updates. An example below of details and helpful patch notes which show how helpful that extra detail can be: @Wakapedia-CIG I am sorry to tag you, and I know you are busy pushing through these patches, but hopefully this thread can explain how much extra detail in these patch notes can help us in evocati and even in the PTU waves assist the wonderful devs at CIG in clearing up the correct bugs. Cheers for reading, Vik
