I appreciate the dedication and creativity that goes into every aspect of Star Citizen, especially the design of ships and their skins. However, I feel it is important to address the current color schemes of the Ship Showdown skins, and kindly request change of theme be considered for the four winners of the 2954 ship showdown. The existing color schemes for the Ship Showdown skins predominantly feature a limited purple palette, which does not harmonize well with the aesthetic of the winning ships. While I understand that not all skins need to perfectly align with the role of each ship, the current purple palette appears somewhat bland. Also considering three of the winners of this years Ship Showdown do not have any unique skins available to them, it would be nice to have skins that make them stand out now that they are getting their time in the spotlight. In my opinion, the purple palette is not only unappealing but also repetitive, given that purple was used in the previous year’s Ship Showdown as well. At the very least, introducing a new color scheme would add some much-needed diversity to the event. The Ship Showdown is meant to be a celebration of the community's favorite ships, and it seems that this year's skins lack the effort and inspiration evident in past Showdowns. A more varied and thoughtfully chosen color scheme could better reflect the unique identity of the Ship Showdown event and let players show off their favorite ships with pride. **Edit: Just to be clear, I am fully aware the the likelihood of the colors actually changing this year are close to 0. However I feel it is important to make it known that people are interested in unique ship showdown skins that show the creative potential of the game.
