Hello, Ships have now be converted to SDF shields, which should visually be both less obtrusive and more distinct with different coloration denoting strength and hits more localized for visuals. In addition, conversion to SDF shields should fix main ship hull shield holes. Note, attached items that stick out of the ship are still vulnerable. Please give this a try! If you encounter any shield holes outside of attached weapons, let us know on the issue council and via a post below (with IC for quick reproduction) with details on the exact ship and location.
