A criminal player has one station option and it's Grim Hex. Homed by criminals, made for criminals and the only shelter in the Stanton system. If a player does Vaughn NPC missions made available through the Mobiglass -> They get crimestat -> which spawns a player bounty on their head. This is fine, high risk and high reward. However getting smoked by Grim Hex turrets wasn't part of the plan Now the issue is, that bounty hunters also consider Grim Hex their home. Why? Easy business and any other reason. That's fine, they tow the line in lore anyway. It's a grey area business However, the station turrets will not defend criminal players which the station is designed to refuge. It will instead side with the law and turn on criminals. Bounty hunters are allowed to follow criminal players into their hangers. Which means PVP inside of elevators. If a bounty hunter ship or lawful status ship attacks a player with crimestat at Grim Hex they are completely ignored by the Grim Hex security turrets If a criminal player with any crimestat returns fire on any lawful player in self defence (against a bounty hunter) the turrets are going to ANNIHILATE the criminal player The turrets shouldn't pick sides let alone lawful, hell they shouldn't even exist. I understand why the turrets got buffed at these other stations like Seraphim and Everus that are lawful, but everyone at Grim Hex knows what they're getting into and criminal options are already constricting enough. We also further push out PVP away from the criminal hub (Grim Hex) by having PVE turrets interfere with willing PVP and playing the lawful side. Which only further pushes criminal/pvp players into going after players elsewhere like Dupree or PVE centric locations for player combat. I don't think there is ANYONE I know of that is happy with turrets interfering at all at Grim Hex and it's only used to help Bounty Hunters complete their missions or interfere in PVP with one shot mechanics. It's like the turrets instead make Grim Hex function like a space prison for the criminal. There's no point in criminal mission availability in Stanton if the one refuge is playing for the other side. Grim Hex has been a PVP hub for the last 6 years, now it's just a nightmare. Remove the turrets. TLDR: When this patch drops, expect to get smited by Grim Hex turrets if you have crime stat
