I'm putting my feedback on 4.0 and Pyro here, as the NDA has been lifted and it's more of a long-term feedback than something that can be fixed for 4.0. During my explorations of Pyro, something quickly jumped out at me. First of all, the game is as beautiful as ever, that's for sure. But there's also the inconsistency of the points of interest and the different types of atmosphere. Let me explain. Relevance of POIs Well, the first thing that really shocks me is the architecture of Pyro's POIs, which are all the same: Buildings open to the outside, campfires set outside with NPCs walking around shirtless... In temperatures and pressures that are lethal for humans... The colonial type is beautiful and perfectly suited to planets like Monox and Bloom (see Pyro 4 but I'll come back to that later) but makes NO SENSE on planets like Pyro I, Terminus or the moons of Pyro V. So my question is simple: Why haven't you taken the bunkers already present in Stanton (I'm thinking of Jumptown-style outposts, for example), messed up the textures to adapt them to Pyro, and put them on Pyro's planets where the atmosphere is impractical? It would have given Pyro more depth and variety. Planets with breathable atmospheres would have been more valuable with welcoming colonial-style cities, and the sense of danger on planets without atmospheres would have been much stronger with survival bunkers. What's more, exploration would have been less redundant, because here it's always the same assets, on every planet in the system, as if you only had those in stock (and we know that's not the case). So I imagine (I hope!) that Genesis will take the atmosphere and conditions into account and adapt the POIs accordingly, but in the meantime I find it very strange that colonial-type cities have been developed on planets like Pyro I, as if in the specifications you hadn't thought to check the climatic conditions before asking the devs to build these environments. Types of Atmospheres The second point that really strikes me as odd is how you've dealt with Pyro's various planets and moons. You can easily rectify the problems without having to wait for Genesis. Before going any further, here are my atmospheric readings of the various planets and moons of Pyro, which will serve as a reference for the rest of the report: Pyro 1 : 939 HPA / 1G / Temperate / No Safe atmo Pyro 2 / Monox : 554 HPA / 1G / Cold / Safe atmo Pyro 3 / Bloom : 963 HPA / 1G / Temperate/ Safe atmo Pyro 4 : 491 HPA / 1G / Cold / No Safe atmo Pyro 5 - Gas giant / No atmo - I flew close to the clouds and felt no resistance to the air. - Vuur : 1219 HPA / 0.35G / Cold / No Safe atmo - Vatra : 1054 HPA / 0.35G / Very Cold / No Safe atmo - Adir: 0 HPA (Limited flight speed despite lack of pressure)/ 0.35G / Very Cold / No Safe atmo - Fairo : 1800 HPA / 0.35G / Temperate / No Safe atmo - Fuego : 464HPA / 0.35G / Cold / No Safe atmo - Ignis : 83 HPA / 0.35G (felt 0) / Cold / No Safe atmo Pyro 6 / Terminus : 1087 HPA / 1G / Very Cold / Safe atmo I'll explain it planet by planet, that way it'll be easier: Pyro I It's supposed to be several hundred degrees there with unbearable atmospheric pressure, a long way from the 20° I measured and its almost terrestrial pressure... Pyro II & III Nothing to say Pyro IV I fucking love this planet, it's probably your most beautiful planet yet, it's gorgeous, despite the few cloud bugs I've seen on the evocati. BUT... Its atmosphere is unbreathable, even though it seems to have been modelled with the assets of a liveable planet. Vegetation, low pressure (but no less than Monox, which is breathable), and a few POIs that really give the impression that life is good on Pyro 4... Until it's time to take off your helmet! I think this detail should be reviewed to make the atmosphere breathable, it would be the most consistent with its design (don't talk to me about green zones, I'm not basing my feedback on realism but on the consistency of the universe in relation to its design and gameplays). Pyro 5 The gas giant is probably still a bug because it has no atmosphere. On the other hand, there's something that bothers me about the moons: almost all of them have a dense atmosphere, except Ignis and Adir (I don't know if it's a bug with that one). I think it's a shame that you didn't take advantage of the moons to add a bit of variety to Pyro, both in terms of gameplay and immersion, by making some of the moons (not all, some of them aren't suited) environments without atmosphere, which would contrast with the other planets in the system. What's more, all the moons are cold? Why doesn't a moon like Vuur with 1800 HPA have an atmosphere superheated by pressure? Pyro VI Pyro 6's visuals seriously remind me of Mars. When I went there, when I saw the atmosphere I thought it was going to be very light and unlivable. Well, it's quite the opposite! Not only is it dense, it's also safe (despite the temperature...). It's a real shame.
