Hello CIG, The recent changes to ESP have completely broken the concept of combat in Star Citizen. I simply cannot not play Star Citizen while I do not have complete control over my input and have a game effectively control my input in an attempt to help me aim. I am comfortable with the concept of a input dampening system, one that allows me to make fine adjustments to get on and stay on a target, but not one that will fly my ship for me without my input. Not only is the system doing this, but it is not working correctly either. Be it a bug or design I am unsure, ESP currently makes it very difficult to play enjoyably. It the recent Around the Verse it was stated that CIG were looking to make patches fun and enjoyable. I question the commitment to this goal with the recent patch. While some aspects and bugs have been repaired, a controversial feature or aim assist has been implemented under the guise of ESP enhancements. Reasonable solutions have been posed to CIG in the past, for all the aim issues, yet it seems that CIG falls on the one solution most controversial amongst the community. It has been suggested that Gimbals auto track within a limited radius, speed of convergence governed by gimbal type or targeting computer to balance it, yet CIG seems content on controlling the actual piloting instead. This path confounds me. If you agree that this course should be recanted, please show your support by upvoting this post and commenting below on why. Please add any helpful suggestions so CIG can adjust their thinking on this matter. Bandeeto. **Edited Post title to better reflect the subject, namely the ESP changes.
