I don't understand why after 4 years and massive funding the current game is so bad... Seriously, am I missing something here? I bought into the dream of Star Citizen in 2014, and played around with the early content in 2015. Have been away since. Was excited to download the latest client and see what how things had progressed... and now a few hours later I'm just stunned and gutted at how dismal the experience was... - After what seemed like 5 mins I got logged into my hangar. - Terrible stuttering for about 30 secs, then it smoothed out. - Had a stroll over to the elevator, went up the elevator, and fell through the floor back to the ground floor. - Tried again, fell through the floor again, gave up and stayed on the ground floor. - Had a look at the 'Console' on my wrist... and felt like I needed new glasses and travel sickness pills to cope with the blurry, shifting text. - Removed my pants, couldn't believe those boxer shorts would be a thing in the distant future. - Loaded my ship into the hangar after searching how to do so on Google. Expected a more intuitive way to do this than the tiny blue anchor point which is impossible to see unless you are right on top of it. - 'Magically floated' into my Aurora LN (I had expected to walk up the ladder), powered it on, and got spammed with repeating "Take off complete, Landing complete..." ad infinitum. - Got the hell outta there (another Google search on how to do this). - Thought, "Ok, let's go check out the new space port", that was kinda exciting... - After about 10 mins loading screen (and I'm not exaggerating) I spawn in a bed, which I get up from like an epileptic geriatric. Stagger to the door, frame rate like a flick book, press 'F' and manage to get my cursor to briefly land on the 'Open Door', click it, stutter stutter, flick book of lobby pictures, black screen... Not Responding, Ctrl-Alt-Del, End Task, come on here to vent my frustration... (for the record I have a decent system, Witcher 3 max settings is buttery smooth, infact I was really excited to try out SC with my new GTX 1070 Strix, I thought "Great, I'll have the frame rate of a house fly!" apparently not.) I'm so disappointed. I'm not hating on the game. I don't want a refund, I want the dream that was promised!!! That 'other' game is suddenly looking like it's worth a punt after all... I need my spacey-tradey-shooty fix! Oh well, guess I'll try again in another 3 years... Rant over... if the game works for you in it's current state, have fun... TL;DR - Sad Face
