Jousting? skill issue. No, not "git gud bra", but seriously. Learn to play the game. You will joust when you want to, get as close or as far as you want once you learn to control your ship. Small fighters too OP? well, its a small fighter so it should be able to fight. For most PVP I at least came across, the light fighter may have been more agile but as soon as you landed a couple shots with big guns he was DONE.So only a VERY skilled player would beat you in a light fighter, and it would take forever. And are we supposed to hire our OWN light fighters as guards anyway? This myth that a gladius would just kill Carracks, Corsairs and C2 in 30 second flat simply isnt true. Even in PVE going against a HH with a Gladius was suicide, and even if being VERY good the tiny dps made it a giant waste of time to fight one at all, even in PVE. As for PVP... arent you supposed to have a CREW in a HH? Ship combat was too skill based, that was the problem?... so now having ships with more agility and more HP for NPCS is better how exactly? Being slower and taking shots like a sitting duck while the same NPC ship can take far more damage than you AND is more agile? Thats better for new players how? MM kills starter ships for ship combat. Anything beyond a low level bounty, lol, good luck. Especially as a new player. So all of us veteran players hate MM guts, and its clearly terrible for new players as well. Why does MM even exist? Whatever minor issues the previous flight/combat model had, it was light years better than this TORTURE.
