First I don't want to make this a MM issue or anything to do 100% about light fighter this or pvp. Its more direct about where I figured a ship should fall in line in the scheme of things. 1- 400i. Its not a combat ship i get it. So its promo feature is speed and acceleration so you can either get around quickly or escape when need. Cool? Well it has the exact same speed of a connie and corsair? Seems off. I don't care about what wins in combat here but I am looking at the ships perks. Seems lost here 2- 600i. Its origin so again speed and acceleration. I knew in MM it would be slower and less agile than say the connie or 400i line up cause its bigger right? Well a carrack out performs it in both speed and agility. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE HERE. 3- MSR. Its speed feels about right but still feels a bit slow. However for its size? It has less hp than a f8 and the same shields. The problem? It has a much larger foot print than a connie or corsair. Both those ships have 100k shields while the MSR has 12k. Ok ok right but what about HP? 37k to the connies 187k and the corsairs 87k. but the shocker? it has 10k less HP than a F8 while holding that massive foot print. The MSR is literally the most paper thin ship I ever seen. Again it doesnt need to slay or be 100% successful at escaping combat but it feels massively off when the MSR has a fraction....a fraction of the hp pools and shield pools of similar size ships and flies around with its foot print with the same stats of a medium / heavy fighter. The MSR was by far the worse ship I seen stats wise in 3.23, like a complete joke. I figure it just needs speed and the ability to tank some rounds as it runs. If anything dares hit this ship its going to explode. 4- spirit - shocking it has more HP than a MSR but it feels massively busted somehow - Its wing HP primarily around side thrusters that convert to vtol basically blow off at a sneeze and just throw you into a spin you can never get out of. The spirit by far was basically death the second it lost its shields 100%. The next issue was I thought the spirit was suppose to be more agile or faster than the cutlass? currently that doesnt seem to be true because the cutlass has a high top nav speed and turns better while holding a turret on top for a gunner (bladed if wanted). The c1 may have the better interior or cargo room than the black but I figure it would still be at least faster or more agile, one or the other here. I am sure there are more ships but I am more so shocked at ships that promote speed or agility literally get "slower speeds" than their direct competition.
