Just my opinion and experiences but PVE combat with MM Is just not fun and hasn't been since it was rolled out. Patch after patch when I do bounty missions, ship PVE combat feels like I'm shooting into a bullet sponge that maybe if I shoot at it long enough will eventually pop. It feels like even small ships take way too long to die and up to the point they soft death or explode there isn't any real sense of progress in the fight. It's just shoot shoot, recharge, shoot shoot, recharge, shoot shoot... ... ... ... oh finally it blew up. Not sure what the solution is but as things stands, ship combat in this ship combat game is just not compelling, interesting or worth bothering with. Once again, this is just my opinion and experience. Maybe you love MM which is awesome and I'm glad you enjoy it. Maybe you find it boring then I commiserate with you. Maybe the end state will be amazing but as things stand right now I'd rather play a dozen other games than do ship combat in SC which is just so sad given how amazing the ships are and how incredible the in game universe is to fly around in.
