Right now, one of the biggest gaps in Star Citizen isn’t ships, features, or loops—it’s information. Nearly everything we know comes from outside the game, and that’s a problem for a universe that’s supposed to feel lived-in and discoverable. A great example: erkul.games. It’s an incredible resource for ship stats, loadouts, and DPS modeling—but it lives completely outside the game. Imagine that level of clarity available in the Mobiglass as an app or even at a terminal in major hubs. New players and veterans alike would instantly have more agency. We also desperately need an in-game encyclopedia—something that explains what items actually are, what components do, and where they generally come from. Not step-by-step guides or spoilers, just enough context to make the universe legible. Think: a beastiary or codex like most RPGs use. If I pick up a component, a mineral, or a random item, I should at least know what category it’s in and what it’s used for. Star Citizen is building a massive, complex world. But complexity only works when players are given the tools to understand it. Moving some of our most essential external resources into the game itself would go a long way toward making the verse feel complete—and actually usable.
