Hello ! I made this design in just a few minutes on Photoshop, to illustrate what I'm saying. In the last patch you went backwards with storage access because of player complaints AND bugs that were causing problems. I warmly invite you to take this opportunity to think about a future version that's more ergonomic, more beautiful and more practical, taking the best ideas from both versions. For my part, I have a big problem with the ‘Open Drawner’ function, which is an unnecessary multiplication of clicks. It's enough to drive a UX designer crazy. On the left, as in the image, put a character sheet, inspired by MMOs, on which you equip your character. If you can find the space, add a box dedicated to displaying statistics or inventory content (not shown in my illustration). You can also add slots for attachments and ammunition. A bit like the loot page, finally. I'd just like to point out that my illustration is very basic and simplified. There are quite a few elements missing, such as the customisation of weapons and ammunition, a box for statistics, another for the contents of rucksacks and all the other important information that you won't forget to include in a future version cough. You get the idea! Once we're satisfied, we press ‘Save & Apply’ and everything is transferred to our character. We could even skip this step and have the equipment install itself automatically as soon as we change it on this screen. For the right-hand side of the screen, the old version of the interface is more practical. The tab format means fewer clicks for more action. In the new version, it opens a drop-down menu in which you have to tick the type of equipment. Then we have to go back to the old category to uncheck what we don't want. That's hell. Thank you for reading, and I hope to see the storages access screens back again soon!
