Dear CIG, With the release of the MOTH, and considering that most salvage ships (with the exception of the Reclaimer) can only output one type of crate at a time, a recurring issue remains for smaller salvage vessels. After completing salvage operations, small leftover quantities of material often remain in the internal buffer. These amounts are too small to produce a full crate, making them unusable. Currently, the only way to remove these residual materials is to claim the ship, which is neither practical nor immersive. I would like to suggest the addition of a purge/flush button on the crate output stations. This feature would allow players to manually clear the remaining buffer contents when the quantity is insufficient to generate a crate. For example, on my Vulture, after completing a salvage mission on an Avenger Titan (scraping and munching), I was left with a small unusable remainder in the buffer. A simple flush option would significantly improve quality of life for salvage gameplay. This small addition would prevent unnecessary ship claims and streamline the salvage loop experience.
