I genuinely don't understand how we keep arriving at the same destination. Players discover a way to accomplish something because the game lacks the proper tools. Players build organizations. Organizations develop logistics chains. Organizations create replacement ship funds. Organizations reimburse members for losses. Organizations buy equipment in bulk. Organizations maintain operational budgets. Organizations create entire player-run economies because there are no organization banking systems, no organization wallets, no marketplace, no escrow systems, no procurement contracts, and no meaningful financial management tools. And somehow the conclusion is: "Well, players shouldn't be doing that." No. Players are doing that because they have to. For years we've been told that organizations, corporations, logistics, commerce, industry, and large-scale cooperation are the future of Star Citizen. Then every time players find a way to approximate those systems themselves, the solution seems to be to break the workaround before the actual feature exists. Imagine if hangar cargo elevators released before freight elevators. Imagine if engineering released before ship components. Imagine if refueling released before fuel. Actually, don't imagine it. We'd probably call it feature complete and put it on the roadmap. The transaction limit isn't frustrating because money transfers are being limited. It's frustrating because the systems that are supposedly replacing unrestricted transfers do not exist. No org wallets. No org treasury. No org accounting. No procurement tools. No player marketplace. No contracts. No corporate finance systems. No way to reimburse members at scale. No way to fund fleet operations efficiently. No way to move organizational resources around without playing accountant simulator. The result isn't that illicit activity stops. The result is that legitimate organizations get punished while bad actors simply adapt like they always do. Meanwhile the people trying to run events, replace losses, fund operations, outfit recruits, stock armories, and keep hundreds of players moving in the same direction are told that the problem is their expectations. The irony is that this entire situation exists because players took CIG's vision seriously. We built the organizations. We built the logistics. We built the economies. We built the support structures. And now we're being told those structures are problematic because they rely on systems that CIG hasn't built yet. At some point somebody has to ask the obvious question: Why does the cart keep getting delivered before the horse? Because from where I'm sitting, we're once again being told that the solution to a missing feature is to remove the workaround and wait patiently for the feature to arrive at some unspecified point in the future. I'm sure the horse is coming. Right after the horse insurance system. The horse management UI. The horse persistence refactor. And the Horse Founders Pack. Warbond only, naturally.
