I did 3 salvage missions yesterday. One of the vessels despawned for no reason, but at least I had enough time to scrape it and fully complete the other two. I was finally happy to have completed, more or less, three different gameplay loops. But I didn't realize that I also had to sell the items to actually complete the loop. [EDIT: Correction After claiming my ship the cargo was there. First time I do a claim and the cargo is not wipe. Maybe it is another bug lol. I assumed based on my experience that claiming = cargo lost. Still, the baseline of my post is valid.] Today, I loaded 120 SCU onto my RAFT and, as I landed in the correct hangar, the ship despawned. I lost the entire cargo. I was saying before that, in SC, you lose 75% of what you do and the time you invest. Honestly, it feels closer to 90%. In almost everything you do, something ends up ruining the experience because everything works... but only 95% of the time. If you had a car where every system worked 95% of the time, the car would rarely move because there would always be one thing broken. That is Star Citizen. "Just wait, it's an alpha. Give it another 5 years." Even the most basic things, which should have been solved years ago like plotting a route, landing, refueling, restocking, still often break. And the scariest part is that the problems are not even consistent. They are not the same for everyone, and they don't happen the same way every time. Everything feels random. It is not isolated coding errors. It is an architectural problem. And 4.9 is full of regressions... Like how the simpliest missions, no AI required, boxes missions fail? CIG, you're only saved by the graphics but don't push your luck.
