I've been playing 3,8 Live for the past 4 days - very safe ; meaning I just casually fly around, maybe haul a tiny 2 SCU amount of cargo, investing or risking very little. I Gradually build up 63K of aUEC. So far so good, .... I don't seem to be having any bugs or issues. Then today (Christmas morning) I decide to haul a little more : I invest 36% of my money in cargo I buy about 24K aUEC worth of cargo at HDMS-Woodruff on Ita. I fly up to 12,000m altitude above Ita I Target planet Hursten and spool up my QT at roughly 12,500m above Ita. THERE ARE NO OTHER SHIPS NEARBY ME As I enter QT and pick up speed, a couple of blue targets whizz by me, I guess they were in space just above the moon's atmosphere ? CRIME STAT INCREASED --> Failure to stop and comply with a search !!! (There was no prior message from them) = Bug #1 I arrive above planet Hurston and QT down to Lorville, arrive at 20,000m altitude above the city I activate Cruise control and accelerate to 200 m/s towards Teassa Spaceport --> CTD !!! (no crash handler) = Bug #2 I relaunch the game, get the option to Left-Bracket to rejoin the session. no good, 2nd attempt, no good, 3rd attempt ..... About 4 minutes later (attempt 25) I finally get back into the game..... spawn in bed , Ship destroyed. Cargo gone ! Money lost (that figures right ?) I walk back out of L19 to discover all the guards are now pointing their guns at me, but they don't fire. weird ? Oh Right ! I got that crime stat. Better go pay my fine inside L19 FINE = 20,000 aUEC ... WHAAAAT ?????? Why so much ? I pay my 20K fine. By now, I've lost 60% of my money because of two stoopid bugs. With my crime stat paid off, I walk back out of L19 ..... GUARDS SHOOT ME DEAD ANYWAY !!! = Bug #3 WTF ?!?! What did I just pay 20,000 aUEC in fines for then ? Yeah, merry Christmas CIG but I'm not playing again today. Yes, I know this is still in Alpha-stage of development, and I'm used to this sort of thing happening from time to time. But if you happen to be a new player, who just purchased a starter pack this month, this sort of event can be devastating to bad-press, word-of-mouth, and general complaints.
