Well, last night I upgraded my F8C's Q-Drive and then took it out to do some bounty missions. I was quickly reminded why I stopped playing the game. Planet/atmosphere bounties are just not fun. Having to fly long distances and not being able to quantum to the location drains all the fun out. Then once you're their fighting in atmosphere is taxing. I'm totally okay with having atmosphere/planet side missions, but I think you either need to split them out as their own mission, so that players who dislike them can avoid them or you should reduce the occurrence so that they're more of a rare 'mix up' surprise instead of how often they're presented to us currently. Oh and all the weapons still being flatten STILL means there's so little in the choice of how to load out your ship it really defeats the purpose of combat (and getting upgrades, etc) for me. It's been what, two years sense the weapon stats were flattened? That's a crazy amount of time! Come on CIG, you really need to start treating the PU like a live service game, you should not be letting things linger as long as you are. The navigation map, is still a pain in the ass to use. Flying around in a space game is a huge part of the core loop of the game. Fix/upgrade the navigation map! This should be your top priority. It's more than a quality of life aspect. Personally, I think it's a mistake to be so focused on SQ42, the only thing I really care about is the PU and it feels like right now the PU is having to take a back seat to SQ42. In the past I would have gladly toss some funds to you for the F8C, but not right now. I just melted some things to be able to try out/play with the F8C. No more funds till Pyro (and/or many of the other quality of life fixes the PU need). PS: I did notice elevators being waaaay faster. Cool, that's a nice quality of life update but there is so much more that needs to be addressed.
