TL:DR The novelty of running through Lorville catching trains has worn off and now just a massive pita, here's some ideas to fix it. I'm evocati and play SC almost everyday. It's great to see the progress being made, but I am worried that travel times are what will kill this game. Spawning at Lorville means a gruelling 10-20mins before you can actually fly in space: Wait to get out of bed (Crusader spawns are a faster animation) Wait for the hab elevator to come up Wait for the hab elevator to go down... Sprint through a series of convoluted stairways and hallways Wait for a train (max of 3mins) Wait on the train... Sprint through more convoluted stairways and hallways Wait for hangar elevator to come up Wait for hangar elevator to go down... Wait for hangar to open Decouple AB and Boost for maximum speed out of atmosphere... Compare that with Olisar, Grim Hex and Levski where you're basically just waiting for the airlock and/or an elevator... I really hope lessons have been learned by the level design team in this regard, setting the spawn a train hop away from s ship spawn is torture tbh, and after the novelty has worn off I simply refuse to set my spawn there. I usually set my spawn at Grim Hex, waiting for the elevator there is fine (partly due to their being 2 elevators, so chances are one is ready for me, partly because the elevators are fast) and everything is a jump or 2 away. If I want to go to Hurston at least I can alt-tab while in quantum... CIG, I love you but please, we want to play the game not look around a theme park. Recommendations: Speed up elevators. The door should open straight after I press the button with a 2-5sec elevator ride. We all know they are teleporting already, it's fine. Allow for higher speeds in atmosphere. Hopefully this was already part of the plan with the new flight model changes in 3.5 Increase train speed or add more trains to the lines (when there is a loop) Open some apartments at the spaceport. I don't work for Hurston anyway... Reduce the atmosphere. Hurston is scaled down so maybe the atmosphere should start at something like 50km? Also, Quantum travel takes way too long in the smallest ships, I'd recommend: Acceleration curve. The longer the jump, the higher the top speed reached at the middle of the journey. (I can't remember if this is how Quantum is already managed or not, if it is then please increase the allowed top speed.) I understand travel times need to have a sense of gravitas and weight attached to it, but right now it just means I am alt-tabbed doing something else while the game plays itself. I've had players mention being booted for inactivity during transit, something isn't right here. Best  FractaI
