Yes I know the title is a bit flashy, but it's for a good reason :slightly_smiling_face: 1) Problem: - The crew elevator can't carry the whole crew; it's too small and forces the crew either to make several trips to board the ship or to use the cargo elevator and then the back crew elevator (that is if the cargo elevator is not holding a rover). Solution: + Make the crew elevator big enough to carry the whole crew. 2) Problem: - There's no emergency stairs or ladders to use in case of elevator failure. Solution: + Add emergency stairs or ladders, both at the front and at the back of the ship (because it's a big ship). 3) Problems: - There's too much wasted space on the bridge. - The scanning stations are unnecessary. - We're wasting a room for the big radar sphere. Solutions: + Allow the crew to scan from their seats on the bridge. + Move the big radar sphere to the back of the bridge, behind the pilot seat. + Add an extra scanning seat in the bridge for the 4th crew member. 4) Problem: - The pilot has low light visibility issues because of the brightness of the front seats. Night landing is very hard, even in the 3.2.1a patch with the lights of the cockpit dimmed. Solution: + Move the pilot seat to the front. Place it as close as possible to the windshield. Move the co-pilots seats back only if needed. 5) Problem: - The armory room is wasted space. There's no need for a dedicated room simply to place lockers on the walls. Solution: + Place the lockers on the walls of the garage/main cargo room. That way they're closer to the rover to exit the ship. 6) Problem: - The bar is backwards. The bartender has the better view. Solution: + Rotate the bar so the guests (or crew) can see outside the ship while enjoying their drinks. 7) Problem: - The diner table is too small for the whole crew. Solution: + Make the diner table bigger. 8 ) Problems: - The extra cargo rooms are in the lower deck of the lounge. That's actually the worst possible place in the whole ship to place cargo (guaranteed). - The crew dorms are on the lower deck, right next to the garage and a deck away from the bridge and lounge area. - Engineering is in the lower deck of the lounge, behind the extra cargo area. Far, far away from the bridge. The crew needs quick access to engineering during an emergency. Solutions: + Move the extra cargo room to the lower deck, where the crew dorms are right now. + Move engineering to the middle section of the upper deck, where the scanning stations, big radar sphere and the armory are right now. + Move the crew dorms and secondary escape pods to the sides of the lounge, where they belong. 9) Problems: - There's no airlock for EVA. You're forcing us to use elevators for EVA, which I'm sorry to say it's ridiculous. Solutions: + Add an airlock with a door big enough to enter cargo in the lower deck, where the bathrooms are right now. 10) Problem: - The utility hardpoints that were promised with the 600i Explorer are nowhere to be found. Not even in the specs of the ship matrix. Solution: + Add the utility hardpoints at least to the specs. They should be there at least on paper. 11) Problem: - Both in the crew dorms and diner table the lights (reflectors) are pointing straight at people's faces. Solution: + Replace with soft ambient lights. It's always a good idea not to place spotlights pointed directly at people's faces. 12) Problems: - The pilot can't control any of the remote turrets. - The co-pilots can't choose which turret they want to control. - The pilot can't allow any of the co-pilots to fly the ship. Solutions: + Allow the pilot and co-pilots to control both remote turrets. + Allow the pilot to allow any of the co-pilots to fly the ship. 13) Problems: - There's rust on the landing gear. When the ship is brand new the landing gear shouldn't be rusted. - There's smoke inside the ship. When the ship is brand new the air filters should be brand new. Solutions: + Replace the rusted landing gear with a brand new rust-free landing gear. + Replace the dirty air filters with a brand new air filters so there's no smoke inside the ship. 14) Problems: - The ship overheats too fast. - The ship runs out of power by simply using boost. - The ship is too weak. And it's a BIG target. Solutions: - Add a second large cooler. - Add a second large power plant. - Add a second large shield generator. 15) Problem: - The ship doesn't have headlights. Solution: + Add headlights to the ship. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of things, so feel free to add anything you think is missing here
