Doomposting inbound: I've been trying to get back into star citizen for the past week after a year long hiatus, to no avail. Cargo doesn't work due to cargo elevator bugs, bounties get 4km teleporting desync on almost every server. Mining whether it be Prospector, hand, or ROC, hasn't worked for me, selling salvage hasn't worked because my RMC gets deleted by the cargo elevator, bunkers aren't very viable because looting is still broken and my inventory wont even open on half of servers. I'm unable to participate in any substantial game loop and unable to make money to buy anything as a result. My final straw this week was getting stuck in New Babbage for over 2 hours because the spaceport elevators didn't work on multiple different servers, and for some reason the character reset didn't let me change primary residence. This game DESPERATELY needs a stability patch, and if they keep steamrolling ahead with new features instead of fixing what's broken, I doubt this game will be playable for a while. been playing for a few years and dealt with my fair share of bad patch releases, but they don't seem to care about fixing this one, the PTU's for 3.24 have the same problems and just add to them. I get this is an alpha game focused on pumping out as much new shit as possible no matter the cost, but if you want players, and players to buy ships, make a playable experience. Until then, I'll return to a backer who plays the game for 1 hour a patch just to check up on things. I get this is going to get flak because its just doomposting, but I want genuine reasons to keep playing this game, i love star citizen and love what it wants to be, id appreciate advice on what i could do outside of bounties, cargo, salvaging, bunkers, or mining, that makes enough money to buy ships.
