So, looks like this patch now allows people to drug eachother in armistice, which resulted in a decent number of people locking down vehicle terminals by drugging everyone that tries to use it. There might as well not be an armistice because everyone is just drugging everyone. I warned about this not too long ago, and yet here we are, armistice is now just drug wars. So, what can we learn from this self inflicted wound? For one, Resurgia is terribly ineffective in the med gun, and needs a substantially stronger effect, as even if you legitmatly attmept to rescue someone, it often just results in an extended period of time of just topping off their health because the resurgia is too slow to actually bring them out of overdose health loss any time soon. For grefiers, its a hay day. They now are free to shoot up armistice so long as they dont loiter too close to the secruity outposts. Stations dont even seem to have secruity, and neither does ALL of Orison for some reason. So you can drug people at the shuttles with no resitance. The "secruity" there literally cower at people with crimestats. Also why is it that NPCs are immune to overdose but not players? You gave NPCs better greif protection than players. For the love of all that is holy, why did you think it was even remotely a good idea to allow people to use the med gun as a weapon? You have created a wholesale tool for greifing. If you dont completely drug someone you can greif them for hours without being liable at all because just drugging them to intoxication is not a crime, and its not like they can resurgia themselves to shake it off either. A medical tool should know better than to inject intoxicants into someone who does not need them. The advanced/manual mode should not even exist, the auto mode should handle the entire process. If you want to create a tranq gun for drugging people, by all means make one, it should not be legal to use in armstice without the rep. The med gun is no place for these mechanics. I dont normally like to ping CIG but @YogiKlatt-CIG this is serious, why was this allowed, what was the mindset behind this that has opened the door for legal greifing?
